We Believe... ...education is the responsibility of the students, families, community, and the educator. ...individual learning styles and progression allow for maximum student success. ...a school environment should promote respect and personal responsibility for all members. ...students should be actively engaged in a variety of learning opportunities daily. ...program choices allow for family flexibility and promote an individual education for all.
Mission Statement The mission of Woodland Elementary School is to provide ongoing educational experiences where teachers, students, families, and community members work collaboratively to enable all students to achieve academic excellence determined by local, state, and federal guidelines, while promoting social life skills to produce life long learners.
Vision Statement Woodland envisions producing students who are educated, cultured, and experienced in reasoning critically, while contributing as a productive member of our school and community. This will be accomplished by providing cooperative and meaningful learning opportunities, among a diverse community, where each child is challenged to reach their maximum competency as a lifelong learner.
